Accounting Recommendations
What would you recommend for accounting software? I’ve researched a few online solutions (buxfer, mint, xero) but haven’t found anything that integrates with my harvest workflow.
I’d like to have my banking records automatically imported, for me that’s a killer feature but I live in Australia so not all online services support it.
What do you use, as a sole trader or freelancer for your accounting considering you’re using harvest?
We use Peachtree. I wrote a filter in Excel to convert billable time from Harvest directly into Peachtree. The download works well, but we dislike Peachtree and are also shopping for new Accounting software. We are an Architectural and Interior Design Firm with about 30 emloyees, and a new user of Harvest. We sell both our services by the hour, and retail furniture products, and need to be able to handle both in the software. Peachtree does fine on the product side, but very poorly with the time tracking, especially with invoicing. Any adivce is very welcom.

I’d be interested to know whether you ever found an answer to your query. I’m in Australia too, and would love to be able to integrate Harvest with my BAS.

I like Kashflow as they integrate a lot with other applications and simple to use (benefit of being online for remote team). Xero was a close contentor too. I’m hoping that Harvest and Kashflow will soon integrate :-)
