PayPal Business Payments Now Allows Credit Cards for Payment?
I’ve had a Solo Harvest account for just about a year now and have, since day one, had PayPal Business Payments working flawlessly with my routine billing.
PayPal Business Payments allows you to collect payments for invoices on a PayPal to PayPal basis and does not allow Credit or Debit cards to be used. This is ideal in my profession as I am typically sub contracted and am not billing the end user.
As of this month, when I create an invoice and view the web version in Harvest, I get the typical “Pay Now” button (without credit card logos), but upon reaching PayPal’s transaction page, There is an option to pay with a credit card.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or know whats going on. I have done my due diligence and submitted a support ticked to Harvest which Jonathan Lane was prompt in contacting PayPal to see what could be happening. Currently, we are awaiting their response, but I wanted to see if anyone else in the community was having my same issue.
Thanks for reading.
Helpful to know that I utilize PayPal Business Payments to take advantage of the 50 cent flat transaction fee per transaction.
Thanks, Mike. As Jon mentioned, we’re waiting on Paypal for a fix for this. They have acknowledged the issue and, so we are told, are working on it.
