Move hours between projects easily?

Hi all,

I’m a new user and search didn’t bring up much on this topic…

We have clients with multiple projects, each with durations for each month, i.e. 20 hours per month, ongoing that I need to track monthly. Some also have 20 hours as startup, then a different project for ongoing.

I have several situations where the team adds too many hours into one project, and I need to get them quickly/easily to another project for the same client.

Client x project: 20 hours allocated, 27 hours entered (over budget)
I’d need to “move” those 7 hours to another project.

I’ve been going into timesheets for our employees, looking back in time for that project and changing the time manually… is that the only way? Or can I edit those 7 hours and move them over easier than going back in time for that employee piece by piece?
