Invoices - Is There a Way to Save the Settings?
Hello, all. Quick question – when doing invoicing, is there a way to save the setup settings so you don’t have to keep starting over for every invoice? It would be even better if you could save the settings per client as some get invoiced differently than others. Then, we wouldn’t have to continually remember and check the boxes for the settings we want. Let us know, thanks!
Hey there! Unfortunately, there’s no way of saving invoice settings at this time, but thanks for letting us know it’s something you’d like to see in Harvest! It’s something that’s on our requested feature list, and I’ll addd your comments to our notes!
Have you tried duplicated an invoice then editing it? If not, give it a go – I’ve found it’s the best way to produce a similar looking invoice.
@porchlightatl: (+1) I also want the ability to be able to set the invoice settings for each project. And, in addition to setting the default settings, I’d like to set up a billing period and have harvest auto-generate draft invoices that suck in time entires from the billing period (and notify me that a draft was created so that I can review and send).
@thebluegroup: Duplicating invoices doesn’t work well for invoicing time new records using existing invoice settings. It copies the entire invoice, line items and all.
