Invoice notes not appearing on invoices
Hi all,
I’ve added a default note for my invoices in the configuration section. But these are not appearing when I create an invoice. Instead the quote notes just carry over. Is this a problem anyone else has?
If anyone knows how to fix this that’d be really great.

This has actually always been the case (we’ve been using it over a year now), with other users posting the same queries in Help and Feature requests.
We’ve never been able to have this resolved. My work around is a text file on my desktop which I copy and paste into the notes every time I make an invoice from Estimate. You’ll find the notes only appear if you make the invoice from scratch.
The reason that invoices created from estimates include the estimate notes is to preserve any project-specific notes that may have been entered.
That said, the option to include the default invoice notes is a current feature request. I’ll add your votes to the request.

Please add my votes to the feature request – I don’t understand why you even have an ‘invoice notes’ field if it doesn’t work!
The invoice notes field is alive, well and functional. It’s just built to display estimate notes instead when an invoice is created from an estimate. You can enter specific invoice notes under Invoices > Configure > Default Values.
