Reporting on Invoices (Revenue) by Category
I’d like to be able to report on invoices (revenue actually) by category. For example, when we create an invoice we can categorize each line item of the invoice. We have two main categories that we use: “Consulting Services” and “Product”. I’d like to distinguish between Consulting Services revenue and Product revenue. Is there any way to do this, already? If not, I’d really like it.
I would like to see this also. I have “Hours” and “Fees” and “Reimbersements” and would like to be able to subtotal based on those line item type2.
Since the line item “type” is standardized across invoices it seems like there should be some way to report based on them. It could be just one more drop down menu associated with Create Invoice/Payment Report. Then have the report show an extra column with the per invoice details on that item type.
