Invoices - Attach Documentation
I am currently on sub-contract, for which I submit the vendor’s (contractor’s) timesheet for approval by the client – then I must send a scanned copy of client-approved vendor timesheets with my invoice. It would be really nice if I could attach a file (e.g. the PDF of my scanned-in timesheets) to my invoice when sending from Harvest.
As it stands now, I have to save a copy of the invoice, attach that and the documentation to my email, and then mark the invoice as sent in Harvest.
What say? If this were provided – and worked similar to attaching receipts to expenses – I would have all my billing documentation inside of Harvest.

+1 . Inclusion of backup for the expenses would be great. BTW do you guys publish a development roadmap to give us an idea what features are on the near, mid range and long term horizon?
Or attach a pdf of the final job (an image of the final product). Being able to attach an image here or to the project would help when my clients keep forgetting what they ordered.
I believe there is already an “attache receipts” feature for expenses, when using the expenses feature within Harvest.
Harvestians: Could you please confirm?

Hey James – Don’t worry, we keep track of all the plus-one’s in an internal database. We’ve got them all in one place. :)

+1 I’d love this feature too. When I have a completed work order the client wants both that and an invoice from me. Much better if I can send them together.

First, I really do appreciate just how beautiful it’s been working with Harvest over the past year. This really is a wonderful service.
My biggest frustration is not being able to add files to an invoice but being able to do so with an estimate. While I do appreciate the fact that I can attach files to estimates, I really need it with invoicing.
