Export features

Hi guys!

First of all, thanks for a great app.

Harvest was the first application we used for invoicing, and we have really grown to love it. However, since we are looking to centralize most of our financial stuff into one place (Xero), we will probably be moving shortly.

The invoicing in Xero is not nearly as neat as in Harvest, but since it connects with other stuff, like bank reconciliation it saves us a lot of time.

So, my main issue is that i find it hard to export our data from Harvest to Xero. Exporting invoices is impossible, because Harvest has no CSV-export for invoices. The only export-feature I can find in the system is a CSV-export for invoice reports.

Secondly, I would like to comment on the “All invoices this year”-view. It would be great if this view was not constricted to just sorting by currency. I often find myself wanting to sort this list by date, but this is not possible. The best thing really would be to make “Status”, “Issue date”, “ID” etc clickable. That way you could sort these items in any way you want.

Lastly, I think it would be awesome if you guys launched an invoicing-only version of Harvest. The invoicing features of this app are amazing, and they work very well for all types of businesses. However, companies like ours, who don’t charge by the hour may not find much use for time-tracking capabilities and such. So my humble suggestion would be to:

1) Launch a invoicing-only edition

2) Cut price by half

3) Add a couple of useful features aimed at these invoicing-users that you couldn’t add before because they could have been too messy for the timetrackers to deal with :)
