2 additions to invoices
I wish you guys would have a total hours by the total cost. We have numerous clients requesting total hours on their invoices. As of right now I am adding a row the says total hours (with the hours on it). It doesn’t look professional.
My other request is there should be a way to track when you sent out the invoice to someone. Our invoices are dated but when I send out reminders I have to write it down somewhere else. It would be nice to have a report of when you send out invoices and reminders.

(+1) I agree about having an easy option to include total hours (in addition to total cost) of the invoice (Harvest is a time tracking too, is it not?).
A client just requested this for me too…i’m getting summary hours from project summary and putting it in the comments for now.

Hi @akr, Jim, and @RhynoDesigns – Thanks for your feedback! I’ve added showing the hours total on invoices to our feature request list. The workaround I’d recommend is exporting a Time report and sending it along with your invoice.
Also, @akr, your invoice does show that you sent a reminder in the Invoice History, but it says that you sent the invoice, and doesn’t differentiate between that and a reminder. This is a bit unclear, so I’m going to make a note about it.

+1 on total hours on invoices. I just had to do exactly the suggested workaround: send both an invoice and and hourly report to the client. Makes me look lame ;-)
